Sue Bennett

I am an active member of Christ Church Westbourne in Bournemouth. One of my roles is to co-ordinate the visits, support and pastoral care for our members who are ill or have a particular need. I became a Christian as a teenager on a Christian Youth Fellowship Association house-party. After training at Cranmer Hall in Durham I worked as a Lay Minister on the staff of a number of churches with responsibility for women’s and pastoral work.  I have been married to Tony for 9 years.

Richard Baxter

Richard began working as assistant pastor at Moordown in August 2015, where he has a particular responsibility for the youth and children’s work. He trained for pastoral ministry in rainy South Wales before making the move with his wife and two young children to sunny Bournemouth. He is excited to see the message of the good news of Jesus Christ at work in Bournemouth transforming the lives of all kinds of people, of all ages.
Wayne Harris – Youth Event Leader
Based in Warwickshire I work as National Director for crossteach - a Christian charity working with local Christian communities to enable young people in schools to critically engage with the Christian faith in a fun and relevant way. Married to Lucie, we have 2 children: Jess and Toby. As well as working for crossteach I try to be active in the church and local community. I am currently the assistant manager of Kenilworth Town JFC U13’s and try to stay fit by playing for Kenilworth Town Veterans. Having lived in Bournemouth for 15 years, it is always a pleasure to visit.

Siãn Cook

I am a Senior Schools Worker at Crossteach Bournemouth and my involvement with the Summer Convention is to organise and run the Youth Event. Originally from South Wales, I have lived and worked as a Secondary school English teacher in Bournemouth since 2003. Being a Schools Worker is such an amazing privilege as I get to do what I most enjoy: talking to young people about Jesus! I love cooking, eating out, walking by the sea, playing my guitar, singing and really anything that is the colour blue.

Ian Bunker

retired I enjoy helping with church and convention projects and websites.
I became a member of Broadstone Baptist church in 2006 and was baptized that same year. Married to Sue we have two children Matthew and Claire.
